My name is Dale du Preez and I live in Nottingham Road, a small village in rural South Africa. Despite my rural location, I’ve previously lived in the United States and the United Kingdom, and have chosen to move closer to my family while my children are young.
I currently work from home for Automattic, where I’m a team lead for a product engineering team that works on WordPress.com. I’ve worked remotely for over five years, so I’ve learned some things. Prior to Automattic, I spent over a decade working on software in the healthcare space at InterSystems.
